Nothing working...can see upload to post options, cant see my own medi library

Hi there

still nothing working :frowning: everything is enabled…just cant see any change whether its enabled or disabled

Hi @floss007,

Please once check with WordPress default theme and with other plugins disabled.

checked with default theme and all plugins apart from the basics …and still nothing.

Hi @floss007, I have visited this link -> http://www.hmsmauritiusveterans.co.uk/ but looks like there are some issues going on in your site. It only shows this line <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0; url=http://www.hmsmauritiusveterans.co.uk/blog/" />

Can you please check and give me URL where your site is working?

Hi

its http://www.hmsmauritiusveterans.co.uk/blog

Thanks

Hi @floss007,

I see, you are using OneCommunity theme, right?

Please check this support thread -> OneCommunity theme and rtMedia isuue for OneCommunity theme media tab issue.

Hi that’s definitely fixed the issue of not being able to upload to a media library…thanks my issue is i presumed that when in a forum and i post a reply i can upoad a photo i found this http://docs.rtcamp.com/rtmedia/features/shortcodes/uploader-shortcode/ but it doesnt tell me where to use this or insert this… any ideas?

i basically want people to upload in their responses and they can be commented on etc like in the RTmedia website

i have moved theme in order to test this out.and it still doesnt work… i simply cannot whilst writing a reply to a topic for example - add a photo

I hate to chase…but this has been a while now and i just want to get on with opening the site…which i am awaiting getting this working. have you got any further ideas…or do i need to get a refund and find an alternative… i hope not as your plugin does what i need and i want to add the tagging element… i just need it working asap .if you need my login to the site then please ask …and ill provide it.via [email protected]

wp-admin / rtMedia / Settings / bbPress / “Enable Attachments in topic/reply” ON.

Enjoy

Ben

please read above…all setting are already on. it is fully configured with all options on

i dont have that option anyway

i see now its a pro feature…hmm that was misleading from the home page of the site. i only really wanted this feature…$149 is way to much for me…guted

Yes, that features is in rtMedia Pro version. You can read FAQ about price.

Thanks,

you should…on the intro video…make it abundantly clear that its only the pro that has these additional features… i unfortunately haave promised a client the full work s and now have to go to them and charge them more money…which is not good for my client relationship.

Eeh. You, floss007, should abundantly read the documentation of the plugins you are reselling to your client before you go out and promise things. Your client should probably be paying a company that knows what they are doing instead of you, is more what it sounds like. I gotta stick up for rtcamp here, everything is well documented. You just tried to be lazy and say “yea, that can probably do it”. Bad move on your part. Learn the products you’re reselling! (I’m a customer of rtMedia, not a friend or employee, my opinion is my own.)

you Illusionglass need to recheck the site and re read before butting in on other peoples business.

when the home page says things like Upload Media Share photos, videos, music from your PC, mobile and tablets on WordPress and BuddyPress here Uploader/Gallery Use uploaders and galleries in templates, pages and posts — in short, anywhere on your site.

under the CORE FEATURES section then any normal person would assume that the core features…i.e. those features that are included in all versions of RTmedia ( at this point on the website no mention of pro is made…) include uploading from pages and posts. in short anywhere on your site…oh…apart from topics, forums, and everywhere that you would actually really want to upload a photos.

so do as your username suggests be an illusion…and butt out of things that are none of your business…and stop trying to lick their butt…your not getting a discount of them.

@floss007 Features list given on this page https://rtcamp.com/rtmedia/addons/pro/ , check the comparison chart. You must check all the documents, features and FAQ for any products before using it. I think other people do the same.

And this is a community forum, so anybody can reply and give their suggestions/feedback. Its a free support forum and hence people have freedom help each others.

rtCamp team may not reply to any support forum here, as they are already busy to help pro plugin customers for premium support.

@floss007 – That’s where your wrong. bbPress isnt a core feature of BuddyPress. In fact, it’s a separate addon. You just ASSumed that it would work for everything. Way to go! I can see your angry, but hot damn!
