Yoast Video SEO and BuddyPress Media

Do you know if BuddyPress Media is compatible with Yoast's Video SEO plugin? I think both plugins would work well together as BuddyPress Media will power the videos on the website whilst Yoast Video SEO will allow the videos to show up higher in Google search results.
