Why http www doesnt redirect to https?

So, I install https://site.com.
https://www - redirects
http:// - redirects
http://www - doesn’t redirect

How to solve that?

Both responses don’t seem super informative. I, like most, would assume that the EE setup would have already configured Nginx to handle such a request. So obviously someone coming here and asking for help might be expecting a bit more of an informative reply or maybe even a short response that is maybe a little bit more to the point.
