I’m getting a white screen and my server over loads when I activate InsipreBook, resulting in me having to restart my server every 2 or 3 page loads. If I rename my InspireBook folder and start the server I can choose a different theme and continue through.
I have already tried:
- Upgrading my package with Digital Ocean
- Disabled Cache
- proxy_read_timeout 300;
- Leaving InspirBook network disabled and just enabled in Network Admin > Sites > Themes
- Testing with a different user for nginx/php5-fpm
- Disabling Gantry Framework as it came from a RocketTheme site previously
- fastcgi_pass 127.0.0.1:7777; listen = 127.0.0.1:7777;
I see:
2014/04/14 20:33:55 [error] 916#0: *139 upstream timed out (110: Connection timed out) while reading response header from upstream, client: 192.241.215.213, server: khanduras.net, request: “GET / HTTP/1.0”, upstream: “fastcgi://unix:/var/run/php5-fpm.sock”, host: “khanduras.net” "
and
2014/04/14 17:36:18 [error] 949#0: *82191 connect() to unix:/var/run/php5-fpm.sock failed (11: Resource temporarily unavailable) while connecting to upstream, client: 157.56.92.142, server: khanduras.net, request: “GET /forums/mod-making-developments-1/rebirth-by-labiri/rss/ HTTP/1.0”, upstream: “fastcgi://unix:/var/run/php5-fpm.sock:”, host: “khanduras.net”
in the nginx error.log file.
When I restart my ssh connection I see:
System information disabled due to load higher than 1.0
Which is why I upgraded my package with DigitalOcean. What are the recommended specs a server should have for a typical InspireBook setup?
Could some one PM me and I can provide server details to show log files? I don’t see other posts about this issue so I figure it’s a configuration error on my part. Other themes work just fine, except all the widgets broke. I do have a backup from just before I installed InspireBook but I’m hoping we can go forward from here as when it does load it looks awesome!
If I restart php5-fpm I can load another page or two before having restart it again.
