When I upload an image to a profile or group gallery I am unable to click on that photo and see a larger view of it that allows comments etc… and or editing if I’m the admin as in the older version of media. Is that something you are all aware of? If I click on a photo in the activity stream that’s been posted it redirects to thumbnail images in gallery but clicking on a picture there does nothing but refresh page. Aren’t we suppose to be allowed to view it as a single photo in gallery in larger view and comment on it? Looking forward to your reply/fix. Thank you.
Try re-saving you permalinks.
Also check if it works with the default theme and with other plugins deactivated.
