I have added mime types under network settings in the wp multi site install and set a big file size limit and can't video to upload to the site. i can upload to wp post just fine. video and photo feature works fine.

Are the sizes set on the PHP settings, as well? (post_max_size and upload_max_filesize). Please check the PHP settings.

This is a little weird. Is there a way, we could look at the error log of the site or test it as a user (and, admin, if needed).
