Updating PHP and Backup fail

Hi

I tried updating my PHP from 5.6 to version 7 and ran into this issue:

Backing up database [Fail] Check logs for reason tail /var/log/ee/ee.log & Try Again!!!

I am using a remote database so maybe this has something to do with it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

if you use a remote database, have you edit the default database host in /etc/ee/ee.conf ?
