Unable to Upload File using Activity Steam

When trying to upload a file via the activity steam or member profile it shows 0%. If I do an upload from a page with the shortcode (not integrated with buddypress) it works fine.

@henry-tafolla - The upload would start once you click on the "Post Update" button. We are in the process of changing this default behavior though.
