Travis Build Failing - Basic Question

If the Travis build is failing does that mean that installing or upgrading EE on a current or new server will fail as well? Or is the installation or upgrade made from the current stable Github version, which I assume is only released if the build is not failing

Latest EasyEngine complete stable., we actully test it on our own server before releasing, So you can use that.
