What is the real value in activating Redis whole page object caching as a default install?
I just started to set up this single page site and did a quick check after switching it on, and Redis makes the site run at half its normal speed.
did you notice the location of the server? One is London and one is Dallas. Assuming your webserver is in the UK it would be significantly faster than benchmarking from Dallas Texas.

I guess it must have reset to the default location after the first test ran.
