When going to the W3 configiration page I get the following error:

The following memcached servers are not responding or not running:

Database Cache: 127.0.0.1:11211.

Object Cache: 127.0.0.1:11211.

This message will automatically disappear once the issue is resolved.

The only difference between now and yesterday is the removal of the mail stack. When trying to run the ‘memcached’ command directly in the command line I receive a ‘memcached is not installed’ error. I am not sure if EasyEngine packages a custom implementation of memcache or can I reinstall memcache?

Fixed the issue by (re)-installing memcached. Also decided to update to Redis and completely get rid of memcached.
