Should I follow typical Ubuntu setup guides?

I’m setting up an Ubuntu 14.04 server and will be using EE to manage the WP and php /MySQL sites on the server. My question is should I go through the typical setup for an Ubuntu server that you find around the web and create a sudo user and configure the UWF firewall, or does EasyEngine just take care of everything.

EE does not take care of firewall, login failure daemons, or anything.

You must take care of it by yourself (at least for now).

Current EasyEngine does not take care of setting up UFW, fail2ban, etc. but Its already on our roadmap.

That sounds great.

However, it would be nice if there will be an option to enable/disable those functions/services, since some of us are using custom config/application for security.
