Sharing from buddy press activity stream to facebook and google plus

Hi guys,

First of all Merry Christmas and this is a great plugin.

When I try to share to facebook the pop up says that my site is unavailable, it also does not show the site on google plus. Ive tried everything before posting as I like to resolve issues myself as I find it is the best way to learn; however, this has got me stumped and I need to resolve it before I launch my site.
