rtMedia Pro Error since 3.7.16 / 2.5.11

I see this on pages at the top now:

Warning: Illegal string offset ‘media_type’ in /home2/XXXXXXX/public_html/wp-content/plugins/rtmedia-pro/app/main/controllers/media/RTMediaProSort.php on line 29

Strange part, is it only shows up on forum posts with bbPress. It doesnt show up on any members media page, while watching videos, only when viewing bbPress forum pages.

The error started showing up with rtMedia 3.7.15, still shows up with 3.7.16, and with rtMedia Pro updated to 2.5.11 is still there.

We have released rtMedia Pro v2.5.12 with the bug fix. Please update and let us know if that fixed the issue or not.

why can’t we all have this new version? mine is stuck on version 2.5.6 with no ability to update and I am experiencing this error.

You can always download latest version and can check your license from my-account -> https://rtcamp.com/my-account/ section.

If you have your license activated, you will get automatic update of the plugin, otherwise no update. You can check this document -> http://docs.rtcamp.com/license/ for more information on license.
