"rtMedia.backbone.js" enabling duplicate posts

First of all, thank you so much for this splendid Plugin for BP! I love it.

I found that rtMedia.backbone.js has the on click disable function for “aw-whats-new-submit” set to “false” when it should be set to “true”.

Leaving it as “false” creates multiple posts by impatient users that may click the “Post Update” button more than once.

I am not a javascript expert so I am wondering, is there a way to go around this without having to modify that file after every update?
