Is it possible to just disable the WP-Redis plugin that automatically gets installed with EE4 and swap it out with this plugin (assuming it’s that much faster)?

The EE devs are big proponets of Redis, so maybe you can ask them to benchmark it and maybe it’ll be integrated into the next release if they think its worthwhile.
You can prob do a test run of such a swap on a development server with EE. Would have to run Redis globally, make a note of the existing cache keys etc. and then swap those into the new plugin and test, test, test!
I’d wait for the rtCamp guys to weigh in though.
