Redirect to Wordpress not working

Hi Guys!

I’m using your migration plugin for Wordpress to re-direct traffic from my OLD blog at
blog.StevePalmer.com to the above managed Wordpress blog-site.

I’ve managed ot insert the generated script OK into my Blogger settings, and although the verification seemed to suggest it had all worked - something is wrong. Let me explain…
I tried a test by going to an OLD blog-post on blogger using my browswer at


…and I expected it to divert to

…but it instead diverts to the HOME page of my new Blog.

Can you suggest what might be going wrong?

This is happening to me too! Please let me know if you find any information on the web for how to fix this as well! All of my old blogger permalinks are just going to the new blog homepage.

Hi!

I ended up uninstalling this plugin and using this one…

It seems to work well redirecting my old Blog posts.

Try following the steps below and see if you had followed them earlier.

  1. Install the plugin
  2. Activate the plugin
  3. Go to ‘Settings’ in the WordPress admin menu and then click on ‘Website Redirect’.
  4. Enter the URL you want to redirect the site to, set the desired redirection type, set the status to ‘Enabled’ and save your changes!
