"Redirect Feed URL from Blogger to Wordpress" Problem

#1

Hi, I am following your "Redirect Feed URL from Blogger to Wordpress" article. It talks about using the FD Feedburner plugin in step 8 and says "add feed URL that just configured in feedburner account."

My question is which is "feed URL just configured in feedburner account"? Should I burn a new feed for my Wordpress site? In following earlier steps I had changed the Original Feed to http://mydomain/feed/ under Edit Feed Details (and the Feed Address remained unchanged - http://feeds.feedburner.com/blogspot/myname.) So which feed URL should I enter in the box?

Thanks in advance,

John

You need to add feedburner feed URL http://feeds.feedburner.com/blogspot/myname inside plugin settings, so your WordPress default feed URL will get redirect to feedburner feed URL.

Note: No need to create new feed URL in feedBurner account for WordPress site.

Hi, After migrating to WP, is there a way to change the feed address (http://feeds.feedburner.com/blogspot/myname) or remove the ‘blogspot’ part without losing my subscribers?

Yes, you can create a new FeedBurner using your blog feed as the source. Then update the source of your existing feed(http://feeds.feedburner.com/blogspot/myname) and that should point to the feed created just now. Delete the old feed URL from FeedBurner control panel and use the 30 day redirection option.
