Recommended Version of Ubuntu

I notice you now support more Linux versions than Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, which is great. However, is there a recommended version, one that takes full advantage of features, security, etc?

I’m installing a new site using EE, and was wondering if you had a suggestion.

You can used Ubuntu 14.04 x86_64 with some good swap space
Any Ubuntu with Long Term Support is good for the servers.

We prefer Ubuntu LTS for servers.
