Pt-query-digest is eating up 100% of my CPU

Hi, I am starting to see one of my CPU cores redline at 100%, the process (in htop) shows it as /usr/bin/pt-query-digest

looks like ee installs this as part of the percona tools, the process stays at 100%. Any idea how to fix?

Nobody else is having this issue then? Hm.

Stock install of ee, on clean 14.04 with 4 Cores and 4GB of ram. Only thing I did was a apt-get dist-upgrade.

Guess i’ll go digging into the configs…

I guess you are in debug mode.

to stop debug mode use ee debug --stop

running that command initially did not lower/stop that processes CPU usage but I figured I would run the debug command again (without the stop flag), then try stopping it again. THAT WORKED.
