php5-memcache install error

Hello,

I was trying to install memcache on my ec2 server. I have setup server with your tutorials and everything works fine. One thing I did different was to use RDS for mysql. So there’s no mysql server running on my VPS.

When I run following command
sudo apt-get install memcached php5-memcache

I get this error
Reading package lists… Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information… Done

Thanks Mitesh,

I can’t login to my GitHub account for some reason. So I’ll just ask it here. You said that Ubuntu official repository provides same package. Can you tell me how to install it?

Thanks!
