PHP & MySQL pages not showing, just nginx welcome page

I set up a new domain using the:

ee site create example.com --mysql

But I get this message no matter which URL I type:

Welcome to nginx!

If you see this page, the nginx web server is successfully installed and working. Further
configuration is required.

Yes, the site has an /index.php page.

Hi, Can you check that your index.php file has correct permissions?

ls -l index.php 
-rw-r--r-- 1 www-data www-data
