Parse Error: Syntax Error

I just updated to the newsest version of RTmedia and now whenever I try to access my website (www.http://achievepeakperformance.net/) I get a white page and this:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/appcin5/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress-media/app/helper/RTMediaSupport.php on line 259

I was able to gain access to my website by restoring it. Hopefully the error I posted helps you fix whatever conflict is going on.

Hi @Feirbrand

Sorry for the inconvenience you have faced. We have released new version of rtMedia (3.8.4) with the issue fixed. The error occur if plugin update fails to download complete file or there is some conflict with PHP versions which are older than 5.3.

Please once try updating your site with this latest version and kindly let us know if the issue still exists for you.

Can you specify which PHP version you are using for your site?

Thank you.

Sorry for the delayed answer. The update did fix the syntax error. I was using PHP 4.6 for my website set by my host. I changed it to 5.3.
