No download button in my media files

I have been trying to get some help with the plugin and I see no lace in the Forum where i could post my question. I am trying to make the download button appear but its not there even though the option is enabled in my options. I asked a question about menu distortion on my webiste but it seems you have time to answer this one concerning the download button that was posted after my concerns. I spent 2 days trying to resolve this before posting my question. I think its time to deactivate your plugin until it becomes more stable. It would help if you acknowledge peoples questions and don't bypass them to pick and choose who you want to answer. I appreciate the hard work you take on to answer all questions but I honestly feel that I'm invisible and I need to carry on and find some other media plugin to get my website up. It looks a decent plugin and I thought it was worth trying out but good luck and I hope your hard work pays of.

If you are talking about buddyboss theme issue that you posted here - http://rtcamp.com/groups/rtmedia/forum/topic/why-an-i-getting-this-when-i-click-on-media-title/ then mistake you made is to post your issue in already closed thread.

You should have started new thread to get attention of support team.

This download feature was available in previous versions of The buddypress media plugin and it worked as far as having the download option before I updated it. Did you all downgrade the free version so that we would have to purchase it because that was the sole reason I even downloaded the plugin. If so how can I go back and download the previous version?

Download feature was present in 2.x series.

From rtMedia 3.0, we did not have real download feature. We left admin setting mistakenly there but turning it on/off did not has any effect.

So we only removed defunct setting from rtMedia-Free version which was confusing few site-admins. Sorry for inconvenience this may have caused.

In any case, all old versions from 2.x are avaialble here - http://wordpress.org/plugins/buddypress-media/developers/

Please note that we do not provide any support or recommend using old versions. So first try then on a test site to avoid crashing live sites.

Regarding PRO version, it has too many unique features of its own so we do not need to downgrade free version.
