hi i have problem when install a new site using easy engine in my droplet digitalocean when i execute ee site create domain.com --wp all run well but seems its not complete installataion because i dont find any database in phpmyadmin and wp-config.php file in a root directory
hope i could get help to solve it

can you check whether you can login to mysql shell.
use this command
mysql -u root -pMYSQL_PASSWD
Replace MYSQL_PASSWD with your original mysql password.
Try switching to root with sudo su first. Worked for me.

When using Debian 7 and the
sudo
command for installations, the default my.cnf location is:
/etc/mysql/my.cnf
not in:
~/.my.cnf
So my question is, should I copy the file to this location or will a symbolic link work just as good?
ln -s /etc/mysql/my.cnf ~/.my.cnfEasyEngine ~/.my.cnf for storing MySQL root user name and password, so that it can easily access MySQL using myql command.
Make sure that file is created and it has correct MySQL root user name and password so that your EasyEngine will work

I now know:
/etc/mysql/my.cnf
is not the same as:
~/.my.cnf
…so NO, a symbolic link to the first will not work.
It appears the ~/.my.cnf file only contains the following info:
[client]
user=root
password=<ROOT-MYSQL-PASSWORD>
… and this file doesn’t seem to get created when using the basic rtcamp installation instructions and the Google Developers Console, Compute Engine.
Before I’m asked, YES it’s possible I missed something, but I did try three times, on three fresh Debian 7 installations, all running on the Google Developers Console, Compute Engine. None of the three installation attempts created the ~/.my.cnf file, while the instructions found at the link I shared (top of this post), worked on the very first try.
Notably, the instructions found at the referenced link will not work with a remote database configuration.

Why would I do that? This installation didn’t have remote MySQL.
I f you setup on RDS from amazon, you only edit two files:
vim ~/.my.cnf
[client] host=dns from amazon RDS>
user=user instance RDS
password= Pass
and
vim /etc/ee/ee.conf
Change to [mysql] grant-host= %
FYI: I’m running on a Linode VM. Started having problems after upgrading to 3.0.4 today.
I think I have the same problem. It doesn’t look like it’s able to successfully create the database (based on logging into mysql as root and looking for supposedly set up database):

I checked /root/.my.cnf & the username and password work just fine to log into mysql as root.
Checked ee.conf file and changed the grant-host = % but something else seems to be a problem. Maybe ee isn’t seeing the .my.cnf file or something…

From you logs it seems that you have not set remote host in your .my.cnf file
checkout you .my.cnf file should look like this
[client]
user=xxxxxxxx
password=xxxxxxxx
host=x.x.x.x or domain name
