The re-factoring is not finished yet as the focus was to first test whether this effort would deliver results. Not all extensions are supported, some tests are failing, and we also have more ideas for additional improvement.

Also its need to manually compile php and install other modules, We need to check memcache and other module works with it

Its recommended to wait for the stable release for the production environments

EasyEngine now supports PHP 5.6 (https://github.com/rtCamp/easyengine/releases), so you can try the latest version of EasyEngine.
