Multisite Activity Stream

#1

HI

Im having an issue with my multisite. On my main site everything is working good. On the subsite, uploading from activity stream is not working. Images are not being uploaded.

On the subsite, if I upload to wall posts within actual media gallery, they get uploaded. Uploading on subsite is not working on activity stream wall.

This is on a fresh install, all options have been checked within Buddypress and rtmedia. Buddypress and rtmedia are both activiated per site not network activated.

Thanks

I have the same issue, I have setup a clean install because I though some plugin was causing the issue but on a clean install, with only buddypress and rtmedia installed I have the same issue.

I set the second site to be the one for buddypress included the define(‘BP_ROOT_BLOG’, $blog_2); in WP config and then installed BP and RT

If I go as a subscriber and add an image under my profile, media it appears both there and on the stream. If I add an image at the activity stream it loads but then disappears. Search in the folders shows it is not there.

Then I installed BuddyPress Activity Plus to test and it works though the images do not appear in the media library! I found them in the folders /social/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/bpfb/2_0-787.jpg

It appears something is not working or has changed. If it helps I can give full admin access to see this themselves.

Thanks Tj

Is there any help with this? There was no issue upto 3.10.9 Everything worked for multisite and then stopped working after 3.10.9 update. if uploaded ,have clean installed and clean installed and tried other versions and all brings me back to 3.10.9. looks like when uploaded through activity stream image is not going in wall posts folder on subsite so… on my issue the image is not being saved in Media gallery or in wall posts folder but its working just fine on main site.

Hi,

We looking into this issue. If we able to reproduce it, soon it will get fixed. It would be great if we get debug info from support tab in rtMedia admin settings.

@all , Please try deactivating and activating rtMedia plugin and updating the permalink structure. You can refer this document ->

@Roping_Rayhan we have checked your query but we were unable to reproduce issue. You can also check on our demo site.

If we can get any debug log it will be helpful.

@kiranpotphode

Hi, I have tried updating permalinks, reinstalled, deactivated and everything else. Kinda hard to see anything with multisite on demo since the demo is not multisite. As we are all saying, It is working on the main site, its just not working on a subsite. this is on fresh install, a number of fresh installs. Nothing activated except BP and RTmedia. On my subsite, the uploaded images from activity stream are not being uploaded, they are not being added to wall posts folder or are they in media gallery in the back end. They simply are not being uploaded on the subsite. Main site everything works like a charm.

like I said, for me, everything worked great up until the 3.10.9 update. I can give you credentials and ftp to log into my site if you would like to check things out.

here my debug info
