Multi Domain Webmail, setting MX records

I have a single server that is acting as web and mail server. I would like to supply email for most of the web sites on my server.

I am hosting with Digital Ocean and managing DNS from their Control Panel. My question is how do I set the MX records for each sites email?

Can you point to any guides?

There will be a single MX record only with IP address equal to Digital Ocean droplet IP.

MX record priority value won’t matter in case of single MX record.

That was an amazingly fast response. So my root domain is domain root.com, what should the mx record be for this?

I then have other domains pointing to the same IP, otherdomain1.com, otherdomain2.com what should the mx records be for those?

My bad!

You need to create a A record with value equal to droplet IP.

Then you can use that A record in any MX record. You can use same value for MX records on different domains.

So if I make an A record of mail.domainroot.com in my DNS settings for domain root.com then I can use mail.domainroot.com as an MX record in all the other DNS settings for my other domains?

Yep. As long as other domains are on same server.
