Moving Wordpress site

First, thank you for all the hard work you put into EE. It’s really appreciated.

I have a question about moving a site. I would like to move a Wordpress site from a shared host not running EasyEngine, to a Digital Ocean VPS running EE with caching (–wpfc).

Is the best approach to install the site using ee site create --wpfc. And then replace the database + wp-content.

If I replace the databse, I assume the config for W3 Total Cache is lost. However, the only thing I can see is enabled, is HTTP header compression. Anything else I should be aware of?

Also, the NGINX helper plugin will have to be installed manually?

Any suggestions to migrating an existing site is greatly appreciated.
