We need to clarify that - Are you talking about BuddyPress comment on activity?

I am attaching the screenshot for the same.

If yes, there isn’t any option available to attach media from the BuddyPress replies or comments.

We haven’t come across any plugin which can provide the attachment for BuddyPress activity comments yet. I will surely update you if I find any. You can also try searching in WordPress plugin repository.
