MaxCDN showing 502 Bad Gateway sometimes

I recently installed MaxCDN on a website powered by EasyEngine (on Ubuntu 14.04). Sometimes none, some, or all of the files are showing 502 bad gateway errors. (Pingdom test where you can see the css files aren’t being loaded.)

The MaxCDN docs explain that it might be a firewall blocking their server.

Could this be the problem? If yes; how could I whitelist them? Thanks!

Solved. It seemed to be a DNS problem. Enabling Origin IP in MaxCDN fixed the issue this time.

If you are experiencing the same problem, I also recommend adding the MaxCDN IP Blocks to your firewall whitelist.
