Lost phpmyadmin password

Continuing the discussion from Where is the phpmyadmin in ee 3.0:

I 've tried to do command cat ~ / .my.cnf cat: /root/.my.cnf : No such file or directory or vim ~ / .my.cnf ~ / .my.cnf " [ New File ] empty file

I have 3 years of wearing ee , but now having problems

hai, i was use this

nano /etc/mysql/conf.d/my.cnf

nano is like a vim

and you can see

[client] user = root password = SFfrerf4
