We have VPS with 512MB RAM and want to upgrade to at least 1GB. During initial install EE created swap and configured things according to installed RAM. Now after upgrade to 1GB RAM is it possible to use some simple update procedure to reconfigure EE according the new amount of RAM (swap, cache settings and so on)?
For swap just change it based on instructions for the OS you’re using. For cache settings, I don’t know if those are generated automatically on the fly, but in any case I would hope they’re not customized for 512MB RAM to begin with. I would suspect those don’t need to be changed, but I’m not sure.

Their’s no need for this as EE doesn’t store server configuration and rely on it.
