How to fix image orientation for videos from iOS

Hi all,

I’m having issues with uploading videos with the correct orientation from iPhone/iPad using rtMedia and BuddyPress.

I found this solution in the documentation, but am unclear how to implement it:

I tried putting the code in my theme’s functions.php file but that didn’t work. Is it supposed to go somewhere in the plugin itself?
