How can I downgrade php version (php7 to php56)

hello i using php7 now on wp site but i have problem a payment plugin… our payment provider sad me “pls, another php version try” i want to downgrade default php version (i think php56) xxxx.com website…

how can i downgrade…

And what should also be a bit scary to people here is that php7.0 is also end of life even earlier - 3 December (i.e. in 16 days time).

I suspect the majority of ee users are using 5.6 and 7.0 :worried:
