Trying to create a new site. Using “ee site create #### --wp”
Gets stuck on installing plugin nginx-helper,please wait.
Not sure why it has startedndoing this.

I had the same issue.
My workaround was:
wp cli update --nightly
It worked for me, I don’t advise no one else to do the same. Better stand by another response.
