Few issues

#1

I am using Redis + hhvm

1: When I enable it to replace normal gallery with “justified image gird”(most popular premium gallery) I get this error for all images(none show): ERR_CONTENT_LENGTH_MISMATCH

2: Since mod_pagespeed doesn’t work with redis what alternatives should be used for image compression ? As google pagespeed shows that 90% are unoptimized and gives low score :slight_smile:

3: Without w3tc how to setup CDN for images? I tried this: https://rtcamp.com/blog/easyengine-3-3-full-page-redis-cache/ (edited site file) but all it does is take site offline.

Thanks

Pagespeed works fine with Redis, just need a few adjust with active modules.

sudo ee site edit example.com --pagespeed

# HTTPS Support
   #pagespeed FetchHttps enable;

   # PageSpeed Filters
   # CSS
   pagespeed EnableFilters combine_css,rewrite_css;

   # JS
   pagespeed EnableFilters combine_javascript,rewrite_javascript;

   # Images
   pagespeed EnableFilters lazyload_images;
   pagespeed EnableFilters rewrite_images;
   pagespeed EnableFilters convert_jpeg_to_progressive,convert_png_to_jpeg,convert_jpeg_to_webp,convert_to_webp_lossless;

   # CDN
   #pagespeed MapRewriteDomain "https://cdn.example.com" "https://rtcamp.com";

# Help: http://www.websiteoptimization.com/speed/tweak/optimizing-pagespeed/
   pagespeed EnableFilters prioritize_critical_css,move_css_to_head,move_css_above_scripts,defer_javascript;
   pagespeed EnableFilters insert_dns_prefetch;

Clean all caches.

sudo ee clean --all

I hope this help you :slight_smile:

Thanks, I tried this but images didn’t load at all, even tried using just image compressing filters but nothing :confused:

Are there any alternatives to pagespeed that would compress/optimize images on server level automatically ? Cheers

Did you verify X-Cache headers?
