Error after last update

#1

Hello and thanks for the plugin! After updating your plugin last night I now receive this error message

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/content/23/5954423/html/thirdworldbooks/wp-content/plugins/buddypress-media/app/main/includes/BPMediaActions.php on line 369

Any ideas on how to fix this? it shows up on the front end to the end-user.

Thanks in advance!

Same problem hiere, even after the 2.6.3 fix. All images gone from the profiles. Groups need to be activated again to make it work at all...

#3

Hi,

Could you update to 2.6.4 and let me know, if this persists? Sorry for the inconvenience.

Regards.

#4

Now the error is on line 370.

#5

Hi Stephan,

We aren't able to reproduce these errors. Could you share a link to your site?

Regards.

http://www.cg-creatives.com/

Without Groups activated, I get this error on profiles: Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_get_current_group_id() in /www/htdocs/XXXXXX/wp-content/plugins/buddypress-media/app/main/privacy/BPMediaPrivacy.php on line 262

#7

Thanks for that. We are not able to reproduce these errors and we needed more pointers.

#8

What kind of information can I provide to help you?

#9

Could you install the latest dev version from https://github.com/rtCamp/buddypress-media/archive/master.zip by deactivating, deleting and uploading this version instead. All the installs we have are error free and this could help us fix these errors.

Regards.

What about the already maintained images of my users? Are they gone now or can we get them back? Isn't the table erased for the galleries, when uninstalling? Could this also be a plugin conflict? Would it help you to know, which plugins I have installed?

#11

No, the media is saved as a standard wordpress attachment. No data would be lost.

#12

Ok, it's installed now. No change. I hope, this helps.

#13

Hi,

Could you also provide me an admin access at saurabh dot shukla at rtcamp dot com? That way I can update and check stuff, faster and release the update quickly.

I'll return the favour as credits.

Regards.

#14

I created a new user for you with admin rights. You should have got an email with your login data. Don't kill anything there, it's a good visited community.

#16

Hi,

Thanks, but when I try installing the plugin, it asks me for the FTP username and password.

Regards.

#17

Send you some FTP data.

#18

Thank you for all your help. We could fix all the errors. Give me a link to use for giving you credits. Since, it is quite late here and I was in a hurry to release the bug fix, I've used your profile on this forum. I'll replace it with the one you provide.

Thanks again.

Regards!

The Media count of my users is still 0. How can I get all of their images connected back to their accounts?

#20

I see the bug: http://www.cg-creatives.com/mitglieder/stephan/photos/2684/ is there but doesn't show up.

I could however upload media and my media page seems okay: http://www.cg-creatives.com/mitglieder/saurabh/photos/

This will take a little time, about 24 hours in fixing. Meanwhile, could you just update your profile privacy settings and let me know if it fixes, at least your media?

Regards.
