When I go to my homepage I get the “Error establishing a database connection” error.

When I go to my homepage /wp-admin/ I get…

I checked the wp-config.php file and it seems to be correct.

Realize an attempt at humor here, but: “Thanks captain obvious.”

Actually it looks like the MySQL server/service is missing. Not sure how that would have happened, but with all this Docker mess, I’m not sure about EEv4 as a whole.

I looked up some guides but they all include the outdated --wpfc command. Are there any alternatives now or is fast cache implemented by default in EE4?

Also, anything else I should be aware of when first installing a WP website (using Digital Ocean btw)? I know that getting a Let’s Encrypt certificate is one but anything else?

Noticed this thread now. I’ve also had this issue on a few of my sites on the same DO Server. Rebooting sorts it out, for some reason the usage spikes randomly after a while.

For anyone experiencing this issue, ee log show might help you debug this further.
