As someone migrating from centmin mod to ee I thought there would be a similar pre-configured CSF installed. Otherwise I’m a big fan of ee. Only had one issue where mysql stopped responding so I just rebooted the server.
@Matthew We have fail2ban and some other security tools in roadmap. Not sure what kind of pre-configured CSF comes pre-installed with centmin. If you like a security project, please let us know and we will consider adding it to the easyengine in future.
About your MySQL issue, please provide logs and more info to investigate. Only time we have mysql crashed is when disk spent became full!
If you are on a vps with low memory, your database might has stopped because you haven’t created swap space.
I had same problem, but solved after adding swap.
