Cannot use classic template in blogger?

Hello,

Let me say thank you for your time and efforts! I used your plugin on my other blogger->wordpress site and it worked great.

I'm trying it for another blogger site, which is several years older (if it makes a difference) and I encountered this problem:

Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.

XML error message: The value of attribute "dir" associated with an element type "null" must not contain the '<' character.

You mentioned in another post this was due to not changing to the classic blogger template.. however I don't even have that option in my blogger account. Any suggestions on how to proceed?

There is an option to revert classic template, is present at the extreme bottom left in your blogger Dashboard ( Design -> Edit Html tab)
