Cannot import name 'git'

Hello ee is brilliant, but now it won’t do anything.

All ee commands now get a - cannot import name ‘git’ - response. Everything else on the server seems fine and nothing obvious in the ee logs.

Running on Ubuntu 14.04, was about to do a site update to multisite. All suggestions gratefully received.

Hi @ripai you need to fix the git installation on your machine , only after fixing it you must use ee. Run the following commands in-order on your terminal .

sudo apt-get purge git
sudo apt-get autoremove
sudo apt-get install git
