Cache purging and domain mapping

I’m using the NGINX helper plugin with my EasyEngine install. Was working on a site with a subdomain and making frequent changes to php template files. No problems. Soon as I activated domain mapping for this site (using an external domain name) then the purging function stopped and I now can’t see changes unless I click the Purge Cache button every time.

Is there a setting I’m missing somewhere so that purging will happen automatically even on sub-sites using domain mapping?
