Blogger post titles used for WP url instead of blogger url

Hmmm...I'm curious as to why WP used the titles of my blogger posts to form the new url instead of the actual blogger urls.

Thankfully I was able to find a plugin that redirected visitors to the correct page because before they were getting that 404 page.

Any idea why this happened???
