.AVI Playback does not work and .MKV does not give any audio

Dears,

First of all I really love your plugin.

However, when I have uploaded a video to a test profile the playback does not start for .AVI videos and the sound for .MKV does not work.

First I had problems uploading the videos but this was simply a matter of the right folder permissions.

Is this a known issue?

Hi @Neoro,

Most of browsers allows only mp4 videos. If you want to play .AVI videos, you need to convert it to mp4 format. I hope you are using the Audio./video enconding service. You can refer this link -> http://docs.rtcamp.com/rtmedia/getting-started/audio-video-encoding/.
