Audio but no video

I have tested rtMedia with all plugins deactivated except s2member, buddypressand bbpress. I have tried with twentyfourteen.

My API key works on my (hostgator) sandbox site with all of the exact same plugins/themes. My main site is not hostgator. This tells me it’s a server configuration problem. But I can’t figure out what I’m missing.

Hi @vincentKa,

I don’t get it, what exactly is the issue you are facing?

Is it that you are not able to upload video? Make sure you have enabled video in rtMedia admin settings under types tab.

Sorry, I put the problem in the subject line of the post, and didn’t repeat it in the body.
The problem I’m having is that any file-type other than .mp4 gives me audio but no video. My server has ffmpeg enabled, and I tried signing up for an rtMedia api key.

Wait wait, what you mean by your server has ffmpeg enabled and tried signing up for rtMedia API?

Are you talking about rtMedia FFMPEG addon -> https://rtcamp.com/store/rtmedia-ffmpeg/ or about free encoding service -> https://rtcamp.com/rtmedia/docs/admin/addons/audio-video-encoding/ ?
