Anywhere uploader doesn't seem to appear everywhere

I have added the Anywhere Uploader to header.php

When a member is logged in they can see the uploader when viewing their own profile. When they navigate to a different member's profile, the uploader doesn't show.

Is this expected behaviour? When a member is logged in, I was hoping for the Anywhere Uploader to show on every page of the site.

Just to let you know this question can now be marked as solved as I read in the documentation the uploader should display in certain contexts only. I should have read the docs first! :)
