Anyway to install EE v4 on local VM environment?

Hello,

I am using Parrallels as VM, and I create a fresh Ubuntu 16.04 to install EE by command line:
wget -qO ee https://rt.cx/ee4 && sudo bash ee

but it not install anything, it would be great if anyone can help with pointing the direction of installment on local VM environment.

It would be easier to install on Ubuntu 18 or 20.
